On Friday, September 16, 2016 I attended my first Red Sox Game. Red Sox vs the Yankees. T and I finally celebrated our birthday with his parents. The Red Sox Tickets were our birthday gift from them, thank you Tom and Laura.
Before I tell you about my experience, lets welcome Aaliyah Breeze Moore. My Niece, my Godchild. The newest member to our family. Earlier this week her momma sent me a photo of her wearing a Red Sox Outfit, why not share it!
We grabbed a bite at Loretta’s Last Call before the game. Personally, because I am a picky eater it was so hard for me to pick something to eat off the menu.
You always hear about the rivalry between the Red Sox and the Yankees. If you don’t know why here is the reason: “In 1919, Red Sox owner Harry Frazee sold star player Babe Ruth to the Yankees, which was followed by an 86-year period in which the Red Sox did not win a World Series. This led to the popularization of a superstition known as the “Curse of the Bambino”, which was one of the most well-known aspects of the rivalry.”
It was so weird walking into the park! Weird in a good way. The atmosphere was so different.
What I wore:
Austin and Jessica were at the game, we hung with them as well.
What’s up W a l l y ?
If it’s your first time at the game you receive a pin, but we could not find one anywhere. As T’s Mom is a go-getter she would not leave the park without getting me a pin. AND SHE GOT ME ONE!
The overall experience was great. I think I may have had too many beers, lol.
